Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)

The Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) program provides students with comprehensive preparation for sitting for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) examination. The Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board, MOE, and Cambridge International Education are the joint examining authorities for the GCE A-Level examination. GCE A-Level itself is recognized locally and internationally by tertiary universities all over the world.

H1 Module

Students will choose 3H2 +1H1+GP or 4H2+GP based on the compulsory and selective Module.

*All classes will be conducted in a face-to-face manner.

• Age: at least 16 years old
• Language: C6 pass in English at the Singapore Cambridge GCE O level or equivalent qualifications or 50% pass in ESIC's English placement test.
• Academic: Obtained at least a C6 at Singapore Cambridge GCE O level in any 3 subjects or at least a C at IGCSE in any 3 subjects or at least 50% pass at Grade 10/ High School Senior 1 in any 3 subjects or equivalent qualifications.

Internal Assessments

• Monthly
• Termly
• Annually

Assessment will be conducted through theory and/or practical methods.

Certification

Upon completion of the program, students will receive an ESIC Certificate of Attendance.

• Local Students (Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents) and Dependant's Pass holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and not be absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reasons.
• International Students (Student's Pass holders) must achieve at least 90% attendance and not be absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reasons.
